The Joy of Interaction

對有小孩的父母，一個家不只是放鬆的地方，更是與小孩互動互見、時刻保持安心的空間。在這個三人小家庭的房子，封閉的廚房改成開放設計，讓媽媽料理時能輕易與家人互動；為小孩打造換上通透玻璃門的遊戲室，讓大人在沙發上休息時也能看到小孩，隨時加入展開一場親子遊戲。層層互動與各種生活的交叉串連，也為父母增添育兒所需的互動與安心。而原本狹長的走道在經過格局調整後縮短變得明亮，餐桌區上方的斜頂設計也放大出空間視覺感，整體的開放通透，讓這個家注滿輕盈放鬆的愉悅。

For this family with a young child，the very concept of home goes beyond a space to provide relaxation for the families. It is meant to be a foundation upon which life feels much at ease, and interaction with one another becomes effortless. We redesign the kitchen and make it opened up to the rest of the house. So now cooking goes from a lab experiment behind closed doors to now a much more interactive experience between the family members. See-through glass door is now outfitted to the play room to make it easier for parents to keep an eye on their kids when adults relax on the couch. A life together with higher level of interaction proves to be crucial to feeling secured. Our redesign shortened the once-narrow hallway and make it much brighter visually. An oblique ceiling structure gives off a wider feel on top of the dining table. Many design features of this house centered around an open and easy vibe, which really paves the way to a breezy and comfortable family life.
